Friends -- I wanted to make sure you saw this list (scroll down).

The sheer number of QAnon-supporting, white nationalist, anti-democratic,
antisemitic, race-baiting candidates on the ballot this November is
shocking.

We’ve seen the damage that elevating just a few of these people into
Congress can do to our politics, our democracy and our society. We cannot
afford to let their ranks grow further.

As President Biden said this week, this is not normal. Equality and
democracy are under assault.

Ben Winsor, J Street Digital Director

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Below, our team has listed nine candidates we believe pose a clear and
present danger to our community, our country and our democratic future.

Each of them is in a tight contest. Every little bit makes a difference.

J Street is proud to be supporting strong, principled candidates who will
keep these folks out of Congress and instead be champions of democratic
freedom both at home and abroad.

[ [link removed] ]John Gibbs vs Hillary Scholten, Michigan’s 3rd District

John Gibbs is a champion of the far-right and well known in all the wrong
circles. A promoter of the Big Lie, he has defended antisemitic rhetoric
and suggested prominent Democrats practice satanic rituals.

Gibbs' upset victory in the Republican primary unseated Peter Meijer, one
of the few Republicans to loudly condemn President Trump’s election lies.
As Gibbs heads toward the general in this toss-up West Michigan district,
we have the chance to send a message: The Republican party’s shift toward
extremism is an electoral disaster.

J Street endorsee and former DOJ attorney Hillary Scholten has a clear
opening lead against Gibbs. Our movement is making sure campaigns like
hers have the support they need to take it to the finish line. [ [link removed] ]Become a

[ [link removed] ]JR Majewski vs Marcy Kaptur, Ohio’s 11th District

Ohio Congressional challenger JR Majewski raised money for the January 6
insurrection. He’s on record saying “I believe in everything that’s been
put out from Q” -- a reference to the outlandish, antisemitic far-right
QAnon conspiracy theory.

A proud ultra-MAGA candidate, Majewski will compete with Marjorie Taylor
Greene for the title of most absurd, inflammatory and downright dangerous
Member of Congress. As a planner and active supporter of the January 6
riot, he has Trump’s full and enthusiastic support (though Majewski blames
the FBI for the violence, because of course he does).

Standing in Majewski’s way is Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur, a proud J Street
endorsee. Candidates like Marcy need our support to make clear to voters
that we can’t take democracy for granted. [ [link removed] ]Become a J Street member to

[ [link removed] ]Adam Laxalt vs Catherine Cortez Masto, Nevada Senate Race

Nevada Senate challenger Adam Laxalt rose to prominence as the proud
champion of the ‘Big Lie’ while serving as Nevada’s co-chair of President
Donald Trump’s reelection campaign. With polling showing that the Nevada
Senate race rests on a knife's edge, fortifying J Street champion Senator
Catherine Cortez Masto’s campaign is a top priority for our movement.

A dedicated conspiracy theorist, Laxalt is a top trafficker of the ‘Great
Replacement’ theory and led lawsuits to undermine President Biden’s
victory in Nevada. An investigation recently revealed that a top campaign
aide joined the January 6 riot alongside two members of the Oath Keepers,
a far-right extremist group.

This is one of the tightest Senate races in the country, and a top
priority for our movement. Together, we're focused on defending and
expanding the pro-democracy majority in the House and Senate. [ [link removed] ]Become a

[ [link removed] ]Paul Junge vs Dan Kildee, Michigan’s 8th District

Former Trump administration employee Paul Junge is all in on the
right-wing Israel agenda. Junge is a champion for President Trump’s
annexation plan for the West Bank and cheered Trump’s unilateral
withdrawal from President Obama’s Iran deal.

Junge is challenging Congressman Dan Kildee in Flint, Michigan and the
race is tight. A longtime ally of J Street, it’s vital that our movement
fortify Kildee’s position. Together, we can make sure another
anti-diplomacy, pro-settlement Trump Republican gets nowhere near
Congress.

Our movement is working to make sure pro-democracy, pro-diplomacy,
pro-equality candidates like Kildee have the resources to win. [ [link removed] ]Become

[ [link removed] ]Ken Calvert vs Will Rollins, California’s 41st District

Congressman Ken Calvert is one of the 109 AIPAC endorsees to vote to toss
out the election results on January 6 and has repeatedly doubled down on
Donald Trump’s ‘Big Lie.’ While federal prosecutor Will Rollins was
investigating those who led the January 6 insurrection, Calvert was
calling to drop the charges against those who stormed the Capitol.

Now, Rollins is running to defeat Calvert in one of the closest House
races in the country.

This race presents our movement with one of the best opportunities to
defeat an election denier and one of AIPAC’s 109 anti-democratic
endorsees. [ [link removed] ]Become a J Street member to support candidates like Will

[ [link removed] ]Alexis Martinez Johnson vs Teresa Leger Fernandez, New Mexico’s 3rd
District

While the Republican party is seeking to present Alexis Martinez Johnson
as a ‘moderate’ in this purple New Mexico district, her record is anything
but.

Johnson championed abortion bans, fought with police over masking
requirements, and called impeachment proceedings against President Trump
“a coup by US House of Representative leftists.” In 2020, she was listed
as a speaker at a white nationalist protest honoring a militia group.

Congresswoman Teresa Leger Fernandez, a proud J Street endorsee, is
standing in Martinez Johnson’s way in a race that could determine the
majority in the House.

Together, we're making sure that campaigns like these have the resources
they need to make clear to voters just how extreme their opponents are.

[ [link removed] ]Ron Johnson vs Mandela Barnes, Wisconsin Senate Race

Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson is in the January 6 committee’s crosshairs
for his office’s role in President Trump’s efforts to overthrow the
election. As rioters were preparing to storm the Capitol, Johnson’s staff
were planning to provide Vice President Mike Pence with a slate of fake
electors who would claim Trump had won the state.

Johnson presents a threat not only to our democracy, but to our community.
As a sitting Senator, he’s trafficked in the antisemitic ‘Great
Replacement’ conspiracy theory and frequently uses divisive rhetoric and
racial grievance to deflect from questions over scandals and misconduct.

Polls show that his J Street endorsed opponent, Lt. Governor Mandela
Barnes, has a strong chance of winning Wisconsin in November. Races like
this are important opportunities to increase our pro-democracy
majority. [ [link removed] ]Become a J Street member to support candidates like Lt.

[ [link removed] ]JD Vance vs Tim Ryan, Ohio Senate Race

JD Vance is an absolute true believer in anti-democratic
ethno-nationalism. In July, the Trump-backed Ohio Senate candidate took
time out of his neck-and-neck race with Democratic nominee Tim Ryan to
travel to the far-right CPAC conference in Israel.

Sharing a stage with speakers who complained that Arab Israelis have too
many rights and who spoke in favor of annexing the West Bank, Vance made
clear that the American right and the Israeli right share a common
entho-nationalist vision.

In America, Vance has taken heat for peddling the dangerous,
anti-immigrant, antisemitic ‘Great Replacement’ conspiracy theory and has
lauded the work of right-wing leaders like Tom Cotton, Josh Hawley and
Marjorie Taylor Greene. We can’t afford to let a cheerleader for the
settlement movement gain a platform in the Senate.

J Street regularly holds local and national events featuring high-profile
candidates, including an upcoming event with Tim Ryan which our members
will be invited to. [ [link removed] ]Become a J Street member to support

[ [link removed] ]Blake Masters vs Mark Kelly, Arizona Senate Race

Arizona Senate candidate Blake Masters is under fire for his ties to the
proudly antisemitic, Christian nationalist GAB CEO Andrew Torba. Masters
has been exposed for lying about his ties to Torba, whose GAB social media
platform is a haven for neo-Nazis, white nationalists and conspiracy
theorists.

Dubbed “King of the Trolls” by Politico, Masters would be one of the
loudest and most dangerous voices in Congress, peddling racist, sexist and
antisemitic rhetoric and conspiracy theories. Did we mention he favorably
referenced a “poignant quotation” from Nazi Commander Herman Goerring in a
2006 essay?

J Street endorsee Mark Kelly has a strong lead -- we need to make sure
candidates like him have the support they need to take it through to
election day. [ [link removed] ]Become a J Street member to contribute to candidates
