Max and I got married during his 2018 campaign and welcomed our son Miles while Max was in Congress and running for re-election. You could say that I’m pretty used to the campaign lifestyle by now!

Campaigns can really take a toll on a family. But I knew from day one that Max’s dedication to his family would never falter. I’d say I’m grateful, but that’s just who Max is. It’s why I knew he’d be an incredible father and it’s why I know he’s going to be the best Congressman for NY-11.

Whether I’m traveling for my business or Max is on the campaign trail, we know that being intentional with carving out family time is paramount. One of our favorites is to read to Miles together before bedtime. Here are some of the books Miles is absolutely loving!

There are certainly some nights when Max is on the campaign trail when we miss him so much, just like there are nights when I’m working that Max and Miles feel the same about me. But I’d like to think we’ve become pretty good at juggling the craziness!

And when I think about Max returning to Congress, I know that it will only ever be a positive for our family and our son, because together we’ll make sure of that.
