John,

In Paul LePage’s Maine, the word compromise doesn’t exist. Or if it does, LePage could use a refresher on what it means. He’s shown us time and time again that he will resort to bullying, name-calling, and even shutting down the government if he can’t get his way.

That means that if LePage becomes governor again, he won’t stop until his extreme beliefs become Maine laws. What would a Republican-controlled Maine look like? Unfortunately it’s not hard to imagine. GOP Governors in other states have moved swiftly to ban abortion, roll back LGBTQ+ rights, and make it harder to vote.

Paul LePage puts party before people every time. We can’t return to the chaos and danger of LePage this fall. Can you chip in $5 to help us stop LePage now?

LePage might have threatened to assault a Maine Dems staffer, but violence isn’t anything new to the former governor. We remember too clearly how he spent his two terms in office verbally harassing and threatening anyone who dared to disagree.

LePage is already spewing baseless lies of voter fraud, and we don’t know how far he’ll go to get his way this November. We need to be ready for anything that LePage tries to throw our way so we can keep him out of office and protect Maine.

Pitch in $5 now to help stop Paul LePage and elect Democrats up and down the ballot.
