John – Eric Schmitt knows that his anti-abortion beliefs have no place in this century. But he's doing everything that he can to take us back to 1972 – a pre-Roe era where abortion was illegal and reproductive freedom was nonexistent.

Earlier this summer, immediately after Roe v. Wade fell, Eric Schmitt issued an official opinion on an existing trigger law, making Missouri the first state in the country to implement an extreme trigger ban on abortion post-Roe. Now, doctors are terrified and at times unable to provide lifesaving care for their patients – and  the birth control that patients have counted on for decades could be next on Eric Schmitt’s chopping block.

But this is only just the beginning. Now, Eric Schmitt is running for Senate so that he can buddy up with Mitch McConnell and destroy reproductive rights across the entire country. With far-right Republicans already scheming to pass a NATIONWIDE ABORTION BAN, we cannot let one of the biggest anti-choice villains in the country make it to the Senate.

Thankfully, Trudy Busch Valentine, a mother, grandmother, fourth-generation Missourian, and proud nurse, is running to defeat his extreme ideology and defend our reproductive rights! While Eric Schmitt will turn back the clock on our rights even further, Trudy will lead us forward and win future generations the brighter, kinder future and reproductive freedom they deserve.
