I just want to say that I’m proud of all the great work my Future Forum members have done to improve the lives of the American people.

Despite dealing with the obstructionist GOP, we’ve successfully been able to pass legislation and deliver for the American people. The House passed the Women’s Health Protection Act to protect reproductive rights, The American Rescue Plan Act to support working families and save our economy, and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act to restore and strengthen voting rights in America.

Folks, Republicans have no real vision for America. Rather than push baseless voter fraud conspiracy theories, eliminate reproductive rights, and focus on divisive culture wars – the American people want leaders who will actually deliver. And that’s exactly what my Democratic colleagues are doing. So I’m asking you, will you join us in our fight to keep the House blue and chip in $5 or more today?

We also just passed into law the Inflation Reduction Act. A historic bill to lower prescription drug costs for folks on Medicare and make the largest investment in fighting the climate crisis in our history. Not a single Republican voted with Democrats to take on Big Pharma and lower prescription drug costs. Not a single Republican voted to invest in fighting climate change and create good clean energy jobs.

Republicans continue to show the American people they’d rather play politics and promote Trumpism.
