As of last Tuesday, Alaska is now a blue state, team!

We know how crazy that sounds, but it’s true! Democrat Mary Peltola WON last week’s special election for Alaska’s at-large House seat, upsetting her MAGA Republican opponent Sarah Palin. You know, the Former VP Candidate and hard-core Trump supporter? That one.

Peltola will mark the first Democrat to hold Alaska’s lone House seat in 49 years, and we don’t know about you, but this has us very excited.

This is a big deal, team. This election clearly indicates a major resurgence for Democrats and could very well be a sign of what’s to come in November. If Democrats can flip a seat as deep red as Alaska's who’s to say we can’t flip countless other Republican seats in November?
