President Biden is going all in to defend the democratic bedrock of our country.

It’s a fact that President Biden and our Democratic congressional majorities have been putting in the work to get things done for working-class Americans.

This last week he has really stepped to the plate to speak truth and face down our greatest challenge: the anti-democratic fascism that has infected the GOP. The MAGA infection is spreading fast, replacing the kind of old-school Republicans that you could at least count on for civil disagreements.

We need to name the disease if we are going to treat it, and that’s exactly what our president is doing.

President Biden pulled no punches when speaking at Philadelphia's Independence Hall:

“And here, in my view, is what is true: MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution. They do not believe in the rule of law. They do not recognize the will of the people. They refuse to accept the results of a free election, and they’re working right now as I speak in state after state to give power to decide elections in America to partisans and cronies, empowering election deniers to undermine democracy itself.”

This kind of straight talk has MAGA Republicans FUMING. Kevin McCarthy, leader of the House Minority Treason Caucus, now has the AUDACITY to tell President Biden to apologize for calling Trump’s loyalists semi-fascist.

Gutless McCarthy should save that energy for removing the rot in his own house. McCarthy needs to do what’s right for his country. He needs to acknowledge the failed Jan 6 insurrection for the treason it was. Until he finds his backbone, this era’s McCarthyism is caring more about your party than your country.

We have to go all in like President Biden if we are going to defend our democracy from these domestic extremists.
