In recent elections, Trump won my district with less than 51% of the vote. In 2018, Gov. Ron DeSantis and Rick Scott won this district by less than 4,000 votes. In Congress I will be working with NewDems to find bipartisan solutions to investment in our public schools and infrastructure, reduce the cost of prescription drugs, and champion expanding our nation’s public transit – like Miami’s high-speed rail system connecting Tampa to Orlando.

My opponent Laurel Lee is all about partisan politics. She was DeSantis’s pick “to safeguard elections” – and it’s clear that Republicans like Laurel Lee and Ron DeSantis are more focused on pledging their allegiance to Trump than on delivering meaningful policies for the people they are running to represent.
