Over the past few weeks, our children have been returning to school, and once again, our teachers are stepping up to provide them with a strong education.

Roy’s own mother was a public school teacher, so he knows firsthand the lengths our educators go to give children the best possible start in life.

North Carolina has the best teachers in the country, and we’re so grateful for all they do to ensure our students are safe, healthy, and ready to go out into the world. Their work is critical to helping us build a brighter future for our communities and workforce.

Roy has prioritized paying teachers what they’re worth, and he was proud to deliver a raise to our teachers this year – but it’s not enough.
