I wanted to take a moment and give you an update on our fundraising numbers for the month. My team and I set a goal of raising $40,000 by midnight tonight to make sure we're on track to hit our FEC fundraising goal at the end of the month. But with just a few hours to go, we're still a bit short.

Mitch McConnell knows we have the momentum needed to flip this seat and the Senate. He's so frightened of losing his majority that he's sending fundraising emails, running ads from his super PAC and having his dark money group pour millions into the state all in support of my Republican opponent, and all with one goal in mind: to defeat me.

The only thing standing in the way of that is this grassroots team.
