We're still accepting applications for the Health Equity Fellowship for
Trainees

(HEFT). Applications for the Fellowship are due by September 19, 2022.

Upcoming Events

This month, Health Affairs events will cover topics including physician
burnout, workforce strain, and more.

We'll host a number of special event for Health Affairs Insiders,
including a Journal Club on September 15
about
remote patient monitoring and a Professional Development event
about the
peer review process at Health Affairs on September 20.

One of this month's highlights is a Practice of Medicine briefing

on September 22 examining physician burnout, workforce strain, and
lessons from COVID-19, which will be open to all.

In October, we'll also host a series of events coinciding with our theme
issue on disability and health. Some of the events will include the
following:

* Health Affairs Virtual Symposium: Disability & Health | Monday,
October 3

* Disability & Health: The View From Main Street | Thursday, October 6

* Disability, Health, and Accessibility in Health Services Research |
Monday, October 17 (Insider Professional Development)
