Dear Friend,

Jane Doe (real name withheld) just wanted to pursue her childhood dream to be a model and actress. Her dream became a nightmare.

When she was a teenager, a sex trafficker, pretending to be an agent from a fake talent agency, came across Jane’s social media account. This “talent agent” established a relationship with Jane, building a sense of trust and confidence with Jane, who was then quite vulnerable. She offered Jane phony acting and modelling opportunities.

Jane was defrauded by “promises” of fame and fortune, and placed her trust in the “talent agent.” Then things took a much darker, and far more disturbing turn. Using psychological manipulation, drugs, threats of violence, and fraud, the agent coerced Jane to work with several fake modelling agencies in California and Nevada. They were actually pornography operations. She became a sex trafficking victim. The agent was actually a sex trafficker, who received payments from the pornography producers for the sex acts involving Jane. The pornography operations uploaded and distributed videos of Jane to multiple internet pornography websites, which monetized the videos with advertisements and online payments.

Thankfully, Jane escaped her trafficker and started a new life. But the videos depicting her sexual exploitation and abuse remained on the Internet, available to millions of viewers. Despite her pleas, these platforms refused to take her videos down.

This is not an isolated incident. Stories such as this led NCOSE to launch our Law Center in 2019 – to seek justice and file lawsuits on behalf of survivors like Jane. You can watch an exciting video about the work of our Law Center and how it is taking on Big Porn and Big Tech and winning!

Our goal is to use the legal system to bring justice to victims like Jane and to hold the sex traffickers and online pornography platforms accountable for the harm they cause, and to dismantle the online sex trafficking industry. We believe this can be accomplished the same way Big Tobacco, the asbestos industry, and other former giants were brought to their knees. That is why we need YOUR help.

Our Law Center is both launching and helping in over a dozen lawsuits exposing the pernicious practices of these companies moving forward. Our strategy is working as we continue to receive favorable decisions in the courts. But we need to scale up so we can file hundreds more lawsuits – creating a legal tsunami that will wipe away their ability to operate under immunity and with impunity!

To start, we need to raise $130,000 right NOW which will enable our Law Center to file four more lawsuits THIS YEAR against Big Porn and Big Tech on behalf of survivors like Jane.

Will you give what you can today?

With your support, countless survivors like Jane, will be able to pursue the justice they deserve and Big Porn will no longer be able to exploit other human beings without facing the legal consequences. THANK YOU!

Sincerely,
