Friend,
I was raised in Zachary, Louisiana where I was taught the values I live by today by my mother and father. Those same values that I fight for each and every single day to protect. Values like hard work, dedication, and putting God and family first in everything.  After high school, I attended Vanderbilt University, graduated, and then went on to receive my law degree at the University of Virginia. I tell you that so you know that I know a little more about law than the average pink-haired woker would like you to believe. I was elected to five terms as State Treasurer where I managed the stateâs $10.6 billion investment portfolios. I also oversaw local and state bond issues and returned millions of dollars in unclaimed property each year. Before I was Treasurer, I served as Secretary of the Department of Revenue, Special Counsel to Governor Roemer, and Secretary of Governor Roemerâs Cabinet.  Then, I got my biggest call. The call to help the people of Louisiana and America. I was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2016 after being endorsed by none other than President Donald J. Trump. I serve on the Appropriations, Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs, Budget, Judiciary, and Small Business and Entrepreneurship committees in the U.S. Senate. I serve as the Ranking Member on the Subcommittee of Energy and Water Development for the Appropriations Committee, the Ranking Member on the Subcommittee of Federal Courts for the Judiciary Committee, and the Ranking Member on the Subcommittee of Economic Policy for the Banking Committee.  Every day for me is a new challenge, another day to serve the people of Louisiana, and another day to fight for our conservative values. You see, Iâm always going to be 100% PRO-LIFE, PRO-GUN, and PRO-FREEDOM. Thatâs not going to change regardless of what the Neo-Socialist Left throws at me and you can write that down and take it home to mama. Iâm going to fight for your rights, your freedoms, and for a better future for our children. That wonât change, Iâd rather drink weedkiller than let the Socialist Left Agenda poison this country that we know and love so much. So, now that Iâve given you my story in a nutshell, Iâm going to humbly ask for your support. Iâve got two Left-of-Lenin opponents running to defeat me because Nancy Pelosi likes me about as much as a cat likes swimming. I need you to rush whatever youâre able below to make sure I have the resources necessary to fight for you and defend our nation.
