We’ve got some great news.Public submissions are openfor Darroch Ball’s Protection for First Responders and Correction Officers Bill.

The Bill proposes a mandatory minimum sentence of 6 months’ imprisonment for those who assault first responders and corrections officers, and passed its first reading in Parliament last week.

The select committee process is an opportunity for you to make your voice heard on the bill. Submissions close at midnight on 12 February 2020.
