I know we’ve emailed you a few times about our goal to raise $500,000 to help fund Swing Left’s operations in 2020. But I just got a big update on our progress, and I wanted to fill you in.

A generous donor in San Francisco, John Wolthuis, emailed our colleague Adam yesterday, offering to match the next $100,000 raised. That means starting today, when you donate to help us hit our goal, your impact will be doubled. Doing some quick math here: we’ve already raised $231,000. If we can raise $100,000 and unlock this match, that’s another $200,000 in the bank, bringing our total to $431,000—and just $69,000 from our goal!

The money we raise this month will fund the critical programs needed to flip the Senate, White House, and state houses in 2020, like our field program to mobilize voters and tech program to connect volunteers with actions.
