Thank you to the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Minnesota and North Dakota for endorsing my candidacy. ABC endorses lawmakers and candidates who champion free market principles and defend the merit shop philosophy in the construction industry.
I also received the endorsement of the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation (MFBF). This was based on my work to support the policies important to them and to their members: sustainability, taxes, energy, the future of agriculture, and our rural communities. I am honored to have the backing of both of these organizations.
On Thursday night, President Biden delivered one of his most divisive speeches yet. He implied that the more than 225,000 people in our district who voted for Trump in 2020 are a "threat to democracy." I think they’d be surprised to hear that, as they work hard day in and day out to contribute to and serve their communities. President Biden is wrong. His rhetoric demonstrates that he is not the great "unifier" he claims to be but rather a bitter man who disparages those who disagree with him.
