I wanted to send a quick note. This Labor Day Weekend, I join with all Kansans to honor the achievements of American workers. Hardworking Kansans helped build this country. And together, we’re continuing to build a better future.

I know this is also a time when many are traveling to see friends and family. That’s why I wanted to let you know that you can visit davids.house.gov/lowercosts to help you find cheaper gas in your area. It also has resources to help folks make ends meet – including for groceries, housing, health care, tax relief, and more.

Though the cost of gas has been going down recently, I know it’s still too high. I’m pushing for concrete solutions to get prices down.

That’s why I stood up to own party to push for a federal gas tax suspension, pushed for the President to reopen closed refineries, & voted to crack down on price gouging. I also recently voted for a new law to invest in American energy and clean energy production.

There’s clearly a lot more we have to do though. I know both Republicans and Democrats can have good ideas, so I’ll keep working to do what I can to help folks get relief. That includes connecting Kansans with resources so people can get help right away. We’re always here for you, regardless of party.
