As we head into the holiday weekend, I wanted to give you an update about some local activities here in Texas.

Austin Fire Department going woke? Firing Christian Chaplain, likely unconstitutional.
In a public letter, I have demanded answers from the Austin Fire Department. Their longtime, much respected, volunteer lead chaplain, Dr. Andrew Fox, was just removed from his post -- allegedly for stating his Christian beliefs about transgenderism on his private blog. If true, this is outrageous and a complete violation of the First Amendment rights of Dr. Fox and also of the firefighters who may want council from Christian chaplains.

Visit with San Antonio Police
My visit with the San Antonio Police Officers’ Association was eye opening. Law enforcement needs our support more than ever. Here's a photo from our meeting:

The UTMB/Wuhan Connection
The University of Texas Medical Branch admitted to making poorly worded contracts with three high-level biosecurity labs in China, including the Wuhan Institute of Virology. These contracts enable the Chinese labs to destroy secret files, data and materials. This is especially alarming given the CCP's demonstrated willingness to twist and subvert scientific research to fit their hostile political agenda -- and I'm calling for a full investigation.

Meeting with local volunteers:

Thinking beyond Labor Day
Labor Day Holiday is always bittersweet -- it's the unofficial last hurrah of summer. In the political sphere, it's also a turning point. While the weather may start to cool down the election cycle will start to heat up. The Left will stop at nothing to maintain their majorities in Congress and continue America down their destructive, globalist path.
