Scott Gryder, GOP nominee for IL-14, issued a statement on President Biden’s recent executive action on student loans. Disregarding the Constitution and all common sense, Joe Biden announced this week that he plans to cancel up to $20,000 per borrower of federal student loan debt. Democratic Rep. Lauren Underwood, Gryder’s IL-14 challenger, voiced her full support for the move, ignoring the serious economic harm it will cause. Lauren Underwood and Joe Biden are driving our economy into the ground. But with your help, we can change course.
Your donation TODAY of $500, $250, $100, or even $50 will play a huge role in the fight for IL-14. It’s time to take power back from the tax-and-spend liberals and vote in common-sense conservatives.
"Lauren Underwood is going along just to get along. She realizes her tax-and-spend party is in trouble and has reduced herself to ploys and smoke in mirrors. Let’s get real here: Illinois families are struggling to make ends meet during this recession. Families are footing the bill for higher grocery costs, higher gas prices, and now will face an additional $2,000 bill per taxpayer to bail out student borrowers. What should be addressed are state and federal mandates that are raising the cost of higher education, rather than a bailout paid for by hardworking Illinoisans. It's a tax on those who paid their loans or work a trade, and a bailout for a select few."
