Bernie founded Our Revolution six years ago to be the vanguard of the
progressive movement — and we’ve been hard at work shifting the window of
what’s possible.

In 2022, we’ve pressured President Biden to put a dent in student debt,
tax the rich, and allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices — but this is
just a start.

To build on these hard-fought first steps, we’re going to need to go BIG
in the midterms.

Our Revolution joined forces with California fast food workers and
mobilized a barrage of calls to state senators - changing some of their
votes to YES on AB 257 - the FAST Recovery Act.

“Lawmakers sent this proposal to Gov. Gavin Newsom — he should sign it
into law and give fast-food workers a voice in shaping conditions for
their industry across the state,” the [ [link removed] ]LA Times reported this week.

Hernandez, a McDonald’s employee of 18 years, who [ [link removed] ]told us of an
industry rife with wage theft, sexual harassment, discrimination, and
health and safety issues.

US Rep. Ayanna Pressley values the progressive partnership between
activists and elected allies, and Our Revolution is proud to back her
re-election to Congress in Massachusetts’ 7th.

where she talked about student debt and the role of our movement in
advancing our policy goals.

Our Revolution backs Corey Jones for Providence City Council (Ward 3).

Corey serves at the state Dept. of Labor and has been a policy advisor for
Gov. McKee, with a focus on reducing gun violence.

A former Bernie delegate and former director of Black Lives Matter RI PAC,
he brings valuable grassroots perspective to governance.

On our Monday Night Call, Corey laid out his commitment to affordable
housing, education, restorative justice, urgent climate action, and
economic prosperity for all of Providence’s communities.

boldest and most influential progressive leaders, and Our Revolution is
backing her for mayor of Oakland, CA!

The daughter of refugees, Sheng grew up poor and lived in public housing.

Sheng has been a leader on issues like affordable housing, homeless

Our Revolution Massachusetts has endorsed a progressive slate of
candidates - who are on the ballot this Tuesday!
Lt. Governor, Tami Gouveia is a progressive leader, championing a public
health approach to governance, a Green New Deal, and Medicare for All.
Shannon Liss-Riordan for State Attorney General also supports Medicare For
All, and she pledged not to take money from the fossil fuel industry, real
estate developers or Super PACs.

Tanisha Sullivan for Secretary of the Commonwealth is a staunch defender
of democracy who has spent a lifetime working to advance racial, social,
and economic justice.
For Auditor, Chris Dempsey is an ally with a progressive track record on

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich joined our [ [link removed] ]National Organizing
Call on Monday to recap his narrow primary win against a pharma CEO.
He credited Our Revolution members and activists for helping him clinch
the 32-vote victory, certified after a nail-biting recount!
It was a tough fight against pharma CEO David Blair and Jeff Bezos’s
Washington Post, but a multi-racial, multi-generational coalition of
working families came together across the county and won.

Our Revolution is leading the charge alongside Greenpeace and frontline
communities to kill Joe Manchin’s dirty side deal to fast-track fossil
fuels.

Manchin has issued an ultimatum — greenlight new pipelines and cut
community protections or he’ll shut down the government on Sept. 30.

We’re calling for a progressive mutiny if leadership tries to jam this
through. Democrats cannot cave to these terrorist tactics to reverse
recent climate steps.
