Hey John — I’ve said this before but it’s worth repeating: any candidate who asks you for money needs to tell you exactly why they deserve your support. And the answer can’t just be the letter next to their name.

That’s why, when I asked you to chip in $5 for my campaign a few weeks ago, I sent along five reasons I think our campaign is worth investing in.

Today, I’m once again asking for your help, so I’m sending along five more reasons why I believe our progress in Colorado is worth protecting, and why I believe this movement is worthy of your support.

1) We were the first state in the country to cap the price of insulin — so that folks with diabetes don’t have to dangerously ration their medication or skip meals in order to make ends meet.

2) We’re cutting prescription costs even further by launching a program to import medications from Canada.

3) We passed a historic Colorado transportation plan to fix our roads and highways, improve transit, and fight climate change.

4) While states like Florida and Texas are discriminating against LGBTQ+ kids and families, we’re making sure Colorado remains a place that is welcoming to all.

5) As Governor, I’m committed to protecting our public lands, which are critical to our economy and our Colorado way of life. We also cut the price of a state parks pass by 65%!
