As we near the end of the year, I wanted to share some thoughts about my good friend of nearly 20 years, Brian Mast. Brian is a father, a combat veteran, a wounded warrior and the conservative Member of Congress for Florida’s 18th Congressional District.
Before Brian was elected to Congress, he spent 12 years in the U.S. Army, specifically working in the Joint Special Operations Command. He was a bomb disposal expert while serving in Afghanistan, where he would clear the path for his fellow soldiers while pushing deep into Taliban territory. Brian intercepted an IED that exploded beneath him, causing the loss of both of his legs and his left index finger.
All that Brian has ever wanted to do was serve his country, both in the military and in Congress. His goal is to make our country the strongest and safest place in the world for our children and generations to come.
I couldn’t be more proud to be friends with this hero - and I don’t toss that word around loosely.
Unfortunately, Nancy Pelosi and her political operatives have placed a target on Brian, declaring our community “vulnerable.” That means they’re coming after him with everything they’ve got - trying to convince voters to back their socialist agenda.
Whether it’s impeaching President Trump or flipping FL-18 to BLUE, they’ll stop at nothing to remove top conservative voices from office and undo all of our hard work.
They’re furious at Brian because he won’t go along with their radical agenda. Instead, he’s fighting to:
- Secure the border
- Keep Florida’s water clean
- Take care of our vets
- Fight corruption in Washington, D.C.
- Cut taxes and balancing the budget
- Stop radical socialism
- Keep America safe
These policies do not align with their big-government vision for Washington, D.C., and it’s why they are coming after Brian. He needs your support now more than ever if he is going to keep fighting for conservative values. I will fight to keep Brian in office, will you join me on this fight?
