Hey John,

February 11th, 2020 is going to be a historic day for the climate, and for Oregon. This is your chance to stand up and demand that state legislators and Governor Brown pass real climate action in 2020.

Join us in Salem for the biggest climate action event of the year.

Oregon’s Climate Emergency Rally
Date: Tuesday, February 11th, 2020
Time: 12:00pm
Location: Court Street, across from the State Capitol Building in Salem
RSVP here: [link removed]

There are only FIVE WEEKS in the 2020 legislative session, so we don’t have many chances to make our case.

That’s why we need February 11, 2020 to be the biggest climate action event of the year. We need to drown out the noise from powerful oil industry lobbyists. We need to be more powerful than their grasstop groups. We need to stand together with one voice and one demand: Climate Action NOW!

Let us know you are coming so we can send you more details as the date approaches. Also, please pass this message on to your friends and family. The more voices rallying for the climate, the better chance we have of passing the bold climate legislation Oregon needs.

This is it. 2020 must be the year of climate action. And we need you to make it happen. Please RSVP for the Salem climate rally on February 11, 2020.

Hope to see you there,
Tanya Zarling

Staying in touch via the Oregon League of Conservation Voters’ email list is the best way we have of keeping in regular contact with supporters like you and letting you know about the ways you can take action to protect the environment. You can [link removed] from our supporter list, but if you leave, it will be harder for you to stay involved with OLCV and continue the work that you’ve been such a critical part of. OLCV wins environmental policy fights and elections because of dedicated activists like you, and we’d hate to see you go.
