John,

Did you miss the news out of Alaska earlier this week? For the first time since 1972, Democrats won Alaska’s 665,000 sq. mile congressional district – in a ranked choice runoff no less. Mary Peltola made history and will be the first Native Alaskan to serve in Congress.

Despite being on opposite sides of the country, Alaska and Maine have much in common. Both states have large rural populations and both use ranked choice voting in congressional races. Peltola’s victory makes one thing clear: with a good message and strong grassroots campaign, Democrats can win anywhere.

We’re fired up and ready to do our part to hold on to the House majority this November. The momentum we have now is too important to lose. Can you donate $5 to help us?

The Alaska news is just one example of the momentum sweeping the country. Recent headlines have highlighted the record number of women who have registered to vote since the Supreme Court overturned Roe this June.

We’re already putting the Alaska playbook to work in Maine, but we can’t do it alone.

Will you help us elect Mainers who are ready to fight for Democratic values, like quality health care, a livable climate, reproductive autonomy? We need your support to keep talking to voters across Maine.

Thank you,
