Hello Colorado Republicans -

It's been a great week! Many Republican candidates have been to the State Fair, meeting voters and making their case. I walked with my family in the State Fair Parade and was thrilled to see the amount of support that our local State Senate candidate, Stephen Varela, has in his hometown.

We also opened ([link removed]) Colorado's first Republican Hispanic Community Center with the RNC and the Barb Kirkmeyer campaign in Thornton. This will be a great place to invite the community in, host events, and also talk with voters. Thornton is in the heart of CD8, and this new congressional district is 38% Hispanic.

Polls show our statewide candidates gaining on the failed incumbent Democrats. A trusted national pollster showed our Attorney General candidate John Kellner in a dead heat ([link removed]) with Phil Weiser -- also known as #FentanylPhil for his failures on crime and drugs. The same poll showed ([link removed]) Joe O'Dea only 1-point down from Senator Michael Bennet. Heidi Ganahl's campaign released a poll ([link removed]) showing her 2 points behind Jared Polis, which is within the margin of error.

We have work to do, but the work we've done is paying off! Our candidates are running strong races and voters want to bring back balance to Colorado. If you haven't already, please jump on board with our candidates and also send them a donation. Together, we can get across the finish line.

Never surrender!

Candidate of the Week: Bill Patterson for HD 24
My name is Bill Patterson, and I am running for State House District 24 which is Central Arvada and East Table Mountain. I am an experienced business man having four successful start-ups behind me. My current small business is headquartered here in Colorado. I started my career as a management consultant where I negotiated between many different stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for all. I am running because during Covid, I saw the government selecting winners and losers in the marketplace where one business was allowed to stay open while others (like mine) were forced to close even though we sold the same products/services as ‘essential’ corporate businesses. Nearly 40% of US small businesses were shuttered as a result of pandemic policies. ([link removed]) As a former business consultant, I knew that this did not need to be this way. I decided that more
small business owners and entrepreneurs needed to get involved in the decision-making process and thus, I decided to run for office. I am running in one of the most competitive House seats in Colorado.

Our campaign is one of the most success door knocking campaigns in the state. We have a fantastic and disciplined team that has been consistently walking since the beginning of June. We celebrate our volunteers on our website and social media. I have knocked on nearly 3000 doors so far this campaign and learned a lot about what concerns the voters of Arvada and East Golden. The key messages of public safety, affordability and better educational choices resonate well with a large majority of the people in my district. To a lesser degree, we have heard concerns regarding reproductive rights and conservation/green issues. But with every voter we reach out to, we spend a little bit of money and require on-going support to continue our great communications effort.

Your support will help bring balance to Colorado. Please visit our website to donate and see more.

Republicans unified toward regaining seats
[link removed]
Fort Morgan Times: ([link removed]) A unified message from a unified ballot of candidates will be the formula for success in November’s general election, Colorado Republican Party Chairwoman Kristi Burton Brown told those gathered Wednesday at the party’s Family Barbecue.

“The slate of candidates we are running from state to federal seats is the best we have had in a long time,” Burton Brown said. “We have a message on crime, inflation and education that we will use to persuade unaffiliated voters.”

Republican candidates for U.S. Senate, U.S. Representative and the top state offices were presented during a meet and greet event at Sundance National Resort & Golf. The issues of importance are similar in many campaigns, the candidates said, and some indicated their campaign volunteers are broadening scopes to support and elect several candidates.

** Republicans open Hispanic outreach office in Thornton
------------------------------------------------------------
[link removed]
CPR: ([link removed]) The Republican National Committee's effort to court Latino voters has arrived in Colorado, with the opening of its Hispanic Community Center in Thornton Wednesday.

The location is a strategic choice — putting the center in the state’s most competitive congressional district. The new CO-8 spans northern parts of the state, including Greeley, and has the largest share of Latino residents of any congressional district in Colorado — 38 percent.

“We will for sure be here through the election, and then we're going to ask the RNC to keep this center open. We would love to see it be a permanent fixture here in Thornton,” said Colorado GOP Chair Kristi Burton Brown at the facility’s opening.

The center occupies a nondescript building near a shopping center and restaurants just off of Interstate 25. Staff there will host community events, and the facility will serve as a gathering point for outreach efforts to Latino voters.

The RNC said this is the 19th Hispanic Community Center it’s opened in the nation. The party has also opened offices to reach out to other communities of color ([link removed]) .
