Joe Biden’s hypocritical, flip-flopping message says it all. And history
doesn’t lie:

* Joe Biden on Oct. 6, 2020: “Unity over Division”
* Joe Biden on Sept. 1, 2022: “Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are a threat
to the very soul of this country.
In case you missed it – and God bless you if you did – Joe Biden was unhinged
last night in his nationally televised address. That’s right, last night, Joe
Biden declared war on conservatives. All conservatives! Remember last year when
he instructed his Dept. of Justice to label parents who expressed concern at
school board meetings as “domestic terrorists”? Well, he took the gloves off
last night and expressed what we knew he believed all along: if you’re not a
tried and true liberal, get off the bus or get run over by the bus.



From Townhall: “Despite Biden’s lies, the true enemy of our Republic is the
radical left and its progressive agenda that embraces Big Government,
censorship, and political violence. For them, the ends justify the means, and
they will stop at nothing to destroy this great country. We’ve seen the lengths
they’re willing to go against President Trump. What do you think they’re
willing to do to you? As Trump has always said,‘In reality, they’re not after
me, they’re after you. I’m just in the way.’ ”

'Woke Policies Are Destroying Minnesota'

Sadly, wokeness is not exclusive to coastal elites. Check out this story in the
Washington Examiner, titled, “Woke policies are destroying Minnesota.” The news
article highlights how Minnesota is now ranked one of the top 10 states for
“outbound migration” meaning we are among the leading states in the country for
residents moving away. The article highlighted the Minneapolis Federation of
Teachers and Minneapolis Public Schools recent agreement that, if staff layoffs
are necessary, teachers of color would be shielded from seniority-based
layoffs. In essence, only white teachers can be laid off.



The story also detailed 160 Minnesota principals’ agreement last year to
“decenter whiteness” in education, revisited the devastation and destruction
caused by the Defund the Police crowd two years ago in the Twin Cities, and of
course detailed Minnesota’s extremely high income tax rates. Read the complete

who tyrannically closed our businesses, schools, and even our places of

One of the highlights of the summer was helping so many communities across the
great 8th district celebrate their summer festivals (photo above from
Ki-Chi-Saga Days in Chisago City). It’s one of many ways I embrace to
personally stay in touch with the Minnesotans I represent in Congress. This
weekend we wrap up the parade season with two festivals:

* Wild Rice Days Grand Day parade in McGregor (lineup at 1 pm, Saturday)
* Labor Day parade in Cloquet (lineup at 10 am, Monday)
