During the White House briefing on Wednesday, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre criticized "MAGA Republicans" for violent rhetoric, specifically mentioning Reps. Paul Gosar, Marjorie Taylor Greene and Madison Cawthorn, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump.

The White House specifically called out the fact that Rep. Greene has publicly expressed support for shooting prominent Democratic elected officials and suggesting physically assaulting transgender school officials. 

President Biden is doing his part to call out semi-fascists like MTG and others in the GOP. But it’s on us to send a strong message that people like her don’t belong in Congress.
