A huge thank you to all of our local seniors who came out to the Brea Community Center for our Seniors Resource Fair, and to all of the amazing service providers who joined us. I’m fighting every day for our seniors to access the care and benefits they have earned. Thank you to everyone who came out last weekend for our Public Safety and Self Defense Seminar! I'm grateful to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department and United Self Defense Yorba Linda for giving us their pro tips and best practices. The space race is not over — it’s only beginning. NASA’s Artemis mission is vital for the U.S. to remain competitive. I have full faith we’ll safely lift off soon, and I’ll keep fighting for space exploration and local manufacturers who make it happen on the Space Subcommittee. Wildfires are a huge hazard for Brea, especially in the Carbon Canyon area. Great to meet with Station #4 and Interim Fire Chief George Avery to learn more about their important work to keep us safe. I’ve introduced bills to improve wildfire communications and detection, and have fought for local projects to support firefighters on the front lines. Learn More. New housing units at CSUF will be able to support 600 students as they pursue education on campus. I look forward to seeing these facilities foster more growth and opportunities for Titans. The App Challenge gives young people from communities across the nation the opportunity to move from passive consumers of technology to active creators of technology. I'm encouraging all middle and high school students to put their coding skills to the test! Apps are due November 1, 2022. Learn More. Casework & Catch Up I’m proud that Team Young has returned $15 million+ back to CA-39 taxpayers and helped 3,500+ constituents receive assistance from federal agencies like the IRS, SBA and the VA.
