John –

Election season is in full swing! We’re more ready than ever to send Ron Johnson back to Washington, retire Tony Evers, and fire Josh Kaul!

We still need as much help as we can get to win this November. If you’re able to volunteer, join us on our website here.

- Team WisGOP

Earlier this week, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reached a new low in their reporting when they attacked Tim Michels for charitable contributions he and his wife, Barbara, have made in recent years. What were these controversial contributions? It included gifts to pro-life organizations, Catholic nuns, some of the largest churches in Wisconsin, and even cancer research firms. Tim hit back, slamming the Journal Sentinel for their anti-Christian reporting and their Democratic bias, as they continue to carry water for Tony Evers’ failing Administration.

On Thursday night, Joe Biden gave a dark and divisive speech in front of a red-lit Independence Hall in Philadelphia. This on the eve of the Labor Day holiday weekend, when he will travel to be in Milwaukee for Laborfest on Monday. In the speech, Biden slammed Republicans, calling us a “threat to this country,” “an extremism that threatens the basic foundations of our republic,” and saying we “do not respect the Constitution…[or] believe in the rule of law.” This speech highlighted that Joe Biden is more focused on dividing Americans than bringing us together. It is a disgrace, and we will make sure to tell him as much when he arrives in Wisconsin next week.

This week, the RPW, RNC, and NRSC sent a demand letter to the Wisconsin Elections Commission insisting that they close the massive security loopholes on the myvote.wi.gov website. As was exposed in recent weeks, there is currently nothing preventing a nefarious actor from requesting and having absentee ballots sent to any address, for any voter in our state. WEC must immediately change this function and only allow voters to request absentee ballots be sent to their registered address on file. Without a change in this policy, the opportunity exists for anyone to request an absentee ballot to be sent anywhere in the country, and will lead to continued questions surrounding the integrity of our elections. The RNC Election Integrity Team and RPW will keep you up-to-date as any further developments occur.

Then And Now: Tony Evers’ Words on Kenosha

Two years ago, Tony Evers fanned the flames of violence in Kenosha – resulting in mass rioting, looting, and destruction to the community. Then and now, Tony Evers has inflamed tensions, vilified law enforcement, and refused to acknowledge that his inaction caused the city to burn.

Barnes Supports Biden’s Plan to Cancel Student Debt

While battleground Democrats across the nation are critical of President Biden’s plan to cancel up to $20,000 in student debt, Lieutenant Governor Barnes is in full support. His campaign recently stated that Biden’s plan will “help Wisconsinites” – two-thirds of whom do not have college degrees.

Barnes Garners Support from Radical Socialist Groups

Barnes has garnered endorsements from several advocacy groups who support the most radical and far-left ideas. The Working Families Party, People’s Action, and Color of Change all signaled their support for Barnes, showing his true liberal values no matter how hard he might try to pass as a moderate. On top of that, he already received endorsements from some of the most liberal members of Congress like AOC, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren.

ICYMI: What They Said About the Journal Sentinel Hit Piece on Tim Michels

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and USA Today Network-Wisconsin hit a new low this week. In an effort to smear Tim Michels, they attacked him for his charitable contributions to various organizations. Among these organizations are local churches, Catholic nuns, pregnancy resource centers, and a professorship for cancer research.

Tim Michels is an honorable candidate who will beat Tony Evers, so it comes as no surprise that the media is looking for something – anything – to smear him. Unapologetic for his faith, Tim Michels responded to this religious persecution head-on.
