I want to take a moment to thank you, team.

Because of grassroots supporters like you, we met and exceeded our August fundraising goal! This means we can continue expanding our coalition to every corner of Los Angeles.

Let’s be clear – I never expected running for mayor of the second-largest city in America would be a walk in the park. But the fact remains that Rick Caruso’s outrageous spending has made this race MUCH more expensive than we could have imagined.

It’s critical we continue meeting our goals to keep our ads running, support our team, and reach Angelenos with our message and vision. Every day, I’m constantly reminded of why I’m in this race. Each week, I have a dedicated team of canvassers, activists, volunteers, and hardworking Angelenos who knock on doors, make calls, and register voters.

The finish line is visible, but we have to keep charging ahead. I’m so glad to have you as a part of this coalition.
