john, first I want to say thank you. Your support helped us reach our August goal and build the resources to defend our Senate majority. Now here’s why that’s so important:

Everything’s on the table this fall. No, I’m not exaggerating.

Democrat Mary Peltola just defeated Sarah Palin to flip Alaska’s at-large congressional seat, becoming the first Alaska Native elected to Congress ever. That’s right, Alaska — the first time a Democrat will represent the state in the House in 50 years.

That’s the fifth straight House special election where Democrats have ran ahead of President Biden’s 2020 numbers.

Add on top of that Kansas voters defeating a constitutional amendment to ban abortion by over 20 points last month, and it’s clear that Republican extremists in Congress, state legislatures, and the Supreme Court have awoken a sleeping giant.

If we keep this up, we have a chance to keep the Senate and the House. But it's going to be tough, and we need to work even harder these next 2 months.

The women of America are standing up and saying, enough is enough. We have the right to control our own bodies — not gerrymandered state legislatures or an unelected, right-wing conservative Supreme Court majority.

That’s what we’re fighting for this election: our freedoms. And our grassroots fundraising goals are critical steps towards protecting and expanding our Democratic majorities.

So we can restore Roe v. Wade. Abolish the filibuster. Expand the Supreme Court. Protect reproductive freedom. And keep taking action on climate, housing, health care, and so much more.

We’ll get there the way we got to our fundraising goal this week — together.

Thanks so much for your support.

All my best,

— Tina
