153 million robocalls.  That’s a lot, right?

Well, that’s how many robocalls were made in Houston last month.

When you look further, you’ll find there were an estimated 47.8 billion robocalls nationwide last year, which was 17 billion more calls than the entire year before!

Something has to change, and that’s why I support an effort that would dramatically cut back on abusive robocalls. Will you add your name and show your support for our plan?

Yes, robocalls are annoying—but it’s more than that.  They pose a danger to consumers.

Robocall scams have defrauded billions from consumers.

Here’s the good news: Last week, I helped advance legislation that would strengthen the ability to block robocalls and step up enforcement on unlawful robocalls.

The measure passed through the House with overwhelming bipartisan support, proving that when we work together, we can solve big problems.

We need your help, too. The more signatures we gather shows just how much support and momentum we have behind our legislation to stop robocalls as it heads to the Senate. Will you add your name?

Together we can do anything,
