Did you know there are a TON of important issues on the ballot this November?

That’s right! This year, we’re not just defending our majority in the Senate and taking back seats in the House — we’re voting on critical statewide propositions to protect the democratic freedoms that California leads the nation on.

With important propositions on the ballot this November, CADEM is hosting Prop Talks to bring you the most relevant information on our official endorsements.

Wednesday, Sep 21, 2022 at 6:30 pm , hear why we are voting YES on Prop 1 .

Prop 1 — YES: Protects the fundamental right to abortion and the fundamental right to contraceptives by adding those rights directly into the California State Constitution.

Wednesday, Sep 28, 2022 at 6:30 pm , hear why we are voting YES on Prop 30 .

Prop 30 — YES: To tax annual personal income over $2 million to fund wildfire prevention and clean air & climate change programs.

Wednesday, Oct 5, 2022 at 6:30 pm , hear why we are voting NO on Prop 27 .

Prop 27— NO: Legalizes online sports betting, from which out-of-state corporations would get 90% of the profits leaving little to fight homelessness, and directly attacks the sovereignty of CA Native American tribes.

Wednesday, Oct 12, 2022 at 6:30 pm , hear why we are voting YES on Prop 29 .

Prop 29— YES: To ensure dialysis patients receive safe treatment in dialysis clinics under the care of a doctor or another highly trained clinician in case of emergencies, without risk of infection, and without discrimination.

Wednesday, Oct 19, 2022 at 6:30 pm , hear why we are voting YES on Prop 28 .

Prop 28 — YES: Provides additional funding for arts and music education in public schools.

Wednesday, Oct 26, 2022 at 6:30 pm , hear why we are voting YES on Prop 31.

Prop 31 — YES: To protect kids from big tobacco by ending the sale of candy-flavored tobacco products, including e-cigarettes and minty-menthol cigarettes, saving countless lives and hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars annually.
