Footing The Bill For Harvard Graduates 😡

Last week moochers, Harvard grads, and well-off elites…(ahem, I mean helpless
graduates) got a hefty gift from the Biden administration in the form of
student loan forgiveness. The cost? A cool$1 trillion
<[link removed]>
over the next decade.

While liberals boast
<[link removed]> about their “win,”
I want to remind them that Biden’s student loan bailout will onlyworsen our
record-breaking inflation andraise college tuition.

Take it from one of Obama’s chief economic advisors. Jason Furman, who chaired
Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers, made a good point whenhe said
<[link removed]>
, “pouring roughly half [a] trillion dollars of gasoline on the inflationary
fire that is already burningis reckless.”

Speaking of fueling the fire, canceling student debt encourages big
universities to keepincreasing tuition
<[link removed]>
because they know the government will bail out students. Not to mention, if
the liberals had their way and all loan debt was canceled, debt would return to
today’s levels in just15 years
<[link removed]>.

Economics aside, this bailout is simply unfair. It is unfair to force
non-college goers and people who already paid off their debt tofoot the bill
<[link removed]>
for other people’s pricey education choices—many of whomdon’t need the help
<[link removed]>
.

A boneheaded decision like this is a blatant buy for votes, and the Democrats
are willing to rob the working and middle class to do it.

Coming Full Circle 💕

Hannah Lawson, who was diagnosed with brain cancer when she was 7, is
returning to work
<[link removed]>
at the East Tennessee Children's Hospital where she was a patient nearly 15
years ago.

This local hero's journey not only led her to create Hannah's Army Angels,
which raises money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and collects
supplies to send to soldiers serving overseas, it also influenced her to become
a nurse dealing directly with pediatric oncology (on the exact same floor she
was treated on!).

This inspiring full-circle story particularly warms my heart because my
daughter Isabeljust came home
<[link removed]> from the East
Tennessee Children's Hospital, where we were given 16 days of excellent care.

Nurses like Hannah should be thanked from the rooftops.
