John - we know Cheri reached out yesterday to say thank you, but we’re so humbled by the support we’ve gotten from this team that we just wanted to say thank you, again.
Everyone here at Team Beasley HQ is filled with gratitude. Grassroots support is the heart of this campaign, and we’re honored that so many people have pitched in to say loud and clear that they believe Cheri Beasley will turn North Carolina blue this November.
That’s not to say this will be easy — far from it. We know Republican smear attacks are on the horizon. But we are proving every day that we have what it takes to win this race.
We won’t ignore the super PAC’s lies or Ted Budd’s extreme agenda of banning abortion, rolling back LGBTQ+ rights, and raising costs on our families to line the pockets of billionaires and corporations. We’ll take them head-on and make the case to the people of North Carolina that we can win a brighter future where our rights, democracy and planet are protected — and that is what our families deserve.
Thank you for having Cheri’s back in this fight. Everything is going to ramp up after this holiday weekend, so our team is going to rest up and get ready to sprint through these final 67 days alongside all of you.
