Fifty members of Congress, 34 Democrats and 16 Republicans, signed a bipartisan letter to President Biden this week expressing deep concerns about the reported Iran deal.
Here are some of their key points:
"Strengthened with an estimated one trillion dollars in sanctions relief over a decade, Iran and the IRGC would be an enormous danger to Americans at home and abroad, and to our allies."
"We should not let war criminal Vladimir Putin be the guarantor of the deal or the keeper of massive amounts of Iran’s enriched uranium."
"Amid Iran-sponsored terror plots to assassinate former U.S. officials and Iranian-American dissidents on American soil, this is no time to remove, suspend, or dilute U.S. terrorism sanctions on Iran or the IRGC."
This important letter comes as Iran responded to the latest draft agreement with terms that the State Department called "not constructive."
AIPAC continues to raise concerns with lawmakers on Capitol Hill, as outlined here, about the emerging agreement.

Glenn Ivey, the Democratic nominee for the Maryland-04 House seat, sat down with AIPAC to discuss his support for Israel and Israel’s right to self-defense, as well as his path into politics and current congressional campaign.
Glenn Ivey is an AIPAC PAC Featured Candidate. Given the heavily-Democratic makeup of the district, Ivey is all but assured to be elected to a full term in November.
