Wesley Britt, here. It’s that time of year again: the air is cooling off, the kids are back to school, and football season is kicking off❗

 

Like most Alabamians, our family looks forward to football season every year so we can reconnect while cheering our favorite teams on to victory. 

 

It’s especially exciting for me because I played college and professional football for years. I fondly remember how football teaches values that are often missing in America today: Courage, Dedication, Teamwork, and Responsibility. No wonder football is an all-American sport – it brings people together and helps people remember some of the building blocks that made America great. 

 

Some upcoming games this Saturday on TV: 

• Troy University is playing Ole Miss at 4:00pm
• Auburn is playing Mercer College at 7:00pm
• Alabama is playing Utah State at 7:30pm

 

My family will be tuning into the games this weekend, WILL YOU? We want to know who you’ll be cheering on to victory❗
