Ken Paxton’s favorite hobby is undermining elections.

Texas AG Ken Paxton just issued a legal opinion that will surely throw this year’s election into chaos.
The new opinion would enable almost anybody to request access to voters’ ballots after they’ve been cast. Yup, you read that right; literally anyone, including political activists or out of state parties could request access to ballots after they’ve been cast. This policy is dangerous and could put election clerks, administrators, and voters at risk. It feels worth mentioning that AG Paxton is still under indictment and facing an FBI investigation.
As Texas’ next AG, Rochelle Garza has vowed to use her office to make progress on the issues that are affecting our community, like gun violence, abortion access, and cracking down on corruption.
On the other hand, AG Paxton is using his time in office to sow chaos in the electoral system, just like he did with the 2020 presidential election and his frivolous, baseless lawsuit before the January 6th riot.
The difference is clear: Rochelle Garza is the right choice for Texas.
