John, many new activists have joined this life-saving movement over the past months, so I’d like to introduce myself again and tell you why I'm a partner in Brady's fight to end gun violence and how you can join me.

My name is Steve Kerr. You may know me as coach of the Golden State Warriors, but I am also a dedicated activist and Brady partner, because I know personally what it is like to lose a loved one to gun violence — and I fight every day to prevent anyone else from knowing that loss too.

It’s been 38 years since my life changed forever, when my father was shot and killed at work. It’s a harsh reality, but it is the reality of our nation: No one is immune to gun violence.
