Hi Jack,

 

Before our August fundraising benchmark came to a close, we still had quite a gap to reach our goal. So, we huddled up and decided to try a new strategy. We sent out text messages to our most engaged supporters, asking them to support our efforts to launch our direct mail campaign.

 

If you were one of the people who opened my text message or email and decided to give: THANK YOU! We are *that* much closer to reaching the funds we need to contact voters because hundreds of people pitched in what they could.

 

Knowing I have a big community of supporters ready to help at a moment’s notice is a *really* good feeling.
