The Senate is back in session in just a few days, folks — and we have a lot of work to do.

We’ve had incredible wins lately. President Biden just signed Senate Democrats’ Inflation Reduction Act into law to take urgent climate action and cut everyday costs like prescription drug prices and energy bills. And the president’s student loan debt forgiveness program is a big step toward providing economic relief and the opportunity for financial stability for about 228,000 New Mexicans.

But there’s still so much more we can do to make healthcare and higher education more affordable, address the climate crisis, and protect reproductive rights. These are all issues I’ll be fighting for in the weeks to come. But I want to know your priorities, too, as I chart a path ahead.
