I wanted to write you a brief message before the long weekend to say: Sincerely, thank you.
It's only because of people who believe in this progressive movement and who have come together to fight for change in our communities that we have been able to successfully hit every mile marker of this race. Our campaign is 100% people-funded, and our success is thanks to grassroots donations from folks like you.
Now, we're in the general election against a conservative Republican opponent. As my campaign manager Luke told you, we came up just short of our General Election Fund goal, but I know that thanks to you we'll be able to make up that difference and win reelection.
I remain in awe of what our movement has accomplished, and I know we've got this thing. Again — thank you!
