In Congress, my priorities will be:

Investing in our children’s futures by passing universal pre-k funded by the federal government, not local taxes.
Making college more affordable by doubling the amount of Pell Grants and investing in programs like RI Promise that provide two years of community college at no cost to students.
Securing good jobs for our students by supporting robust career training, apprenticeship, and workforce development programs. 

While President Biden’s effort to forgive student loan debt for so many is a good start, we need to do more to address the cost of college in the long run—and to make it part of an education system that closes the skills gap and increases economic mobility for students and families. In Congress, I will work to make sure college and career pathways are accessible for all. I ask that you help me get there by donating to our campaign.
