Leora Levy Responds to Biden’s Divisive Rhetoric in “Soul of the Nation” Speech
GREENWICH, CT – Last night, Joe Biden gave an aggressive speech using military personnel at a national historic site, Independence Hall, to wage a political attack on 74 million Americans who did not vote for him in 2020 as he likened them to radical extremists while ironically calling for unity.
Countering Biden’s proclamation that under his reign, “America is more prosperous, free and just,” Connecticut U.S. Senate and political outsider Leora Levy is offering a response.
“Joe Biden ran on being a unifier, but last night’s speech was aggressively divisive and clearly meant to intimidate more than half the country. Using a backdrop of military personnel and an American historical landmark, Independence Hall, was beyond the pale.
“Two years after being elected, Biden has made every problem our country faces and in fact the world, considerably worse. Franky, his failed policies created the most serious problems that American families are facing today. And Dick Blumenthal has voted for and still supports every single one of those failed policies. Blumenthal is the face of Biden in Connecticut. At least Biden has united 74% of the nation on one thing: we are on the wrong track under his Presidency. While Biden continues to pedal falsehoods, Connecticut families are struggling under record inflation, the indoctrination of our children in the public schools and the concurrent assault on parental rights and increased lawlessness; all created and emboldened by DC and CT Democrats.
“When was the last time Biden reached across the aisle rather than offer divisive remarks calling patriots who promote an American-first agenda ‘fascists’? Biden was right about one thing: ‘This is not who we are,’ this is the result of his failed leadership. Under Biden, Blumenthal and DC Democrats, we are neither promoting American energy independence nor manufacturing, we are not securing the southern border, we are not teaching kids the fundamentals they need to compete and be successful in life. Our enemies are taking advantage of our weakness, our lack of leadership around the world.
“Biden’s incendiary statements will not unite Americans but electing true political outsiders who will forthrightly stand up to fight for our American values will. It is time we oust out-of-touch politicians and unite behind new, fresh ideas that will bolster our economy, our national security, and our children’s future.”
