Hey y’all, Ike here! President Biden’s address last night made this clear: Donald Trump and the ultra-MAGA Republicans represent extremism that threatens the very foundation of our Republic.

And Friend, Texas is at the forefront of the battle for the soul of the nation.

We know that MAGA forces are determined to use Texas as a springboard for laws that take our state and country backwards -- backwards to an America where there is no right to choose, no right to privacy, no right to contraception, and no right to marry who you love. They will not stop here.

Texas Republicans promote authoritarian leaders that fuel the flames of political violence, and threaten our constitutional rights, justice for all, and the rule of law.

As the Texas Democrats’ Communications Director, a first-generation American, and proud gay man, I applaud President Biden’s wins –- student debt forgiveness, bipartisan passage of gun reform, signing into law the Inflation Reduction Act and PACT Act. But, if we don’t maintain Democrats’ momentum, Texans will suffer an ultra-conservative agenda hell-bent on stripping away our freedoms.

Friend, we have to give this all we’ve got. In 67 days, Texans have an opportunity to oppose the radical far-right, and we need your donation to ensure we have what it takes to carry us over the finish line.
