The Bureau of Justice Assistance?s (BJA) Comprehensive Opioid, Stimulant, and Substance Abuse Program (COSSAP) is proud to support Recovery Month!
Nearly 74 million Americans aged 18 or older reported having a substance use or mental health disorder in 2020, according to the latest "National Survey on Drug Use and Health". Despite all these obstacles, many have been successful in seeking and maintaining recovery. It is estimated that over 22 million people in the U.S. are in active recovery today.
