John, my blood is
still boiling from the horrible incident that just went down in Vance
County, North Carolina.
A police officer slammed an 11-year old boy to the ground like a rag doll.
It’s not just foul. It’s criminal.
[ This ]This is a video from Vance County
Thanks to grassroots pressure, the officer was just fired. But that’s not
enough. He should be arrested immediately for the felony assault of a
child. His actions not only violate policy – they violate the law.
But much of what happens to this officer next will come down to the
district attorney (DA). I need you to understand that in similar cases all
across the country, whether or not police face any consequences for such
brutality comes down to the DA.
[ [link removed] ]That is why Real Justice is laser-focused on electing DAs who will
hold police accountable. So I am asking: can you please pitch in to help
Real Justice elect DAs who will fight back against police
brutality?[ [link removed] ]Contribute $5
Too often, police are given passes left and right, up and down, all over
for things like this. But together, we can change this and make sure that
police are not above the law. We’re depending on your financial support to
do it.
Appreciate you,
Shaun
