My team just called to say that we just finished our strongest digital fundraising month of the year!

In the middle of what experts call the “summer slump”?! That’s incredible! This team never fails to blow me away with your generosity and your dedication to our democracy.

It couldn’t have come at a better time, either. We’re just two months out from the midterm elections that will decide who holds control of Congress for the next two years — and it’s critical that Democrats hold on to the Senate.

Mitch McConnell and the Republican Party have taken a hard right turn in recent years, and if they flip even one seat this fall, they’ll take back power and start working to reverse our progress.

But if you keep this energy up through November, we’ll be able to get this done. So thanks for having my back and being on the team. I’m so grateful.
