I've been to every corner of PA-05 and back, talking to working families. Many say the same thing, “Where is Mary Gay Scanlon? What is she doing to help my community and my family?”

Not once have I heard a father say he wishes we had more green energy credits. He’d rather have more time spent with his family than balancing an ever-diminishing bank account.

Not once have I heard a single mom wish for the expansion of the IRS. I was raised by a hardworking single mother who taught me the importance of giving families the opportunity to stand on their own with dignity.

Not once have I had a retiree ask for higher taxes.

However, this is exactly what Mary Gay Scanlon voted for when she voted "yes" on the Inflation Reduction Act. She’s a politician, she doesn’t understand the needs of working families.

American families’ ability to prosper gets smaller by the day.  Instead of providing relief, Mary Gay Scanlon voted to provide funding for an additional 87,000 IRS agents that will scrutinize low- and middle-income families.

Enough is enough. Pennsylvania families don’t need another politician, we need someone with a record of strong leadership and public service. My service as a Naval officer was always about something and someone bigger than myself.

I pledge the same, and nothing less as your next Congressman. I will stand for and deliver results for the hardworking families of PA-05.
