Starbucks Sip-in Solidarity
What better way to spend Labor Day weekend than supporting your local unions?
This Sunday September 4th the newly unionized workers at the Cary, IL Starbucks will be holding a sip-in, collaborating with WSILDSA and other progressive organizations. Let us demonstrate solidarity in the fight for representation. WSILDSA will be handing out flyers from 7am to 1pm and encouraging customers to sign the "No Contract, No Coffee" pledge. Come out, order your favorite drink, and show your support by tipping big and stating your name as "Union Strong", "Union [your name]", or "Solidarity Forever".
